Stopson Italiana has completed the acquisition of Modcon Makina, the Turkish partner it has worked with for more than a decade. As a result, the production of silencers and industrial noise-control systems now sits within the Group.
Furthermore, the company now combines its engineering expertise with direct manufacturing capabilities and offer a complete range of services from design to production.
What the Modcon Makina acquisition changes at corporate level
Modcon Makina has merged into Stopson Makina Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş., the legal name of Stopson Italiana’s Turkish subsidiary. This company now centralises the Group’s industrial and operational activities in Türkiye.
The business continues to operate under the Stopson Türkiye brand for engineered soundproofing products and Modcon brand for industrial carpentries.
One point of contact across the whole project
Above all, the integration gives Stopson Italiana control over every stage of a project. The team follows the work from the analysis of noise sources and operating conditions, to the definition of the acoustic solution, and then through manufacturing, installation and on-site support.
For customers, this means a single point of contact. In addition, it ensures continuity between the specifications drawn up during the engineering phase and their implementation at the plant.
A manufacturing hub for international projects
The Turkish facility produces silencers and integrated noise-control systems for power plants, Oil & Gas facilities and industrial infrastructure.
Moreover, a direct presence in Türkiye strengthens the Group across the Eurasian region and MENA countries. Consequently, Stopson can respond faster to the technical and operational demands of international projects.
A structural integration, not simply a wider offer

The next step in the Group’s growth
Finally, the acquisition continues the internationalisation process launched in 2023 with the establishment of Stopson Türkiye. It also follows the company’s 60th anniversary in 2025, celebrated with a new identity and a renewed market positioning. Stopson Italiana now aims to consolidate its position among Europe’s leading players in industrial acoustic engineering.
