These silencers are designed to be used on diesel and gas engines and, in some cases, on industrial low/medium power gas turbines. Developed in our research laboratory and field-tested on numerous industrial applications, our silencers are based on a principle of attenuation of the absorption and/or resonance sound wave.
There are 5 models of silencers available depending on the attenuation performance required:
The nomenclature of the SM silencer also indicates the nominal diameter of the inlet, e.g. SM15 DN-100ND 100, SM25-DN200 ND 200, SM30-DN250 ND 250, SM40 ND 125-DN125.
The choice of silencer is based on:

Silencer SM 15/25
The SM15 and SM25 are absorbent type silencers. The gases pass through a soundproof passage in an absorbent liner and a built-in element. The absorbent material with high acoustic efficiency is protected by a perforated steel sheet. The inlet and outlet ducts are axial.
Silencer SM 30
The SM30 is based on the combined principles of resonance and absorption. The gases enter an expansion chamber lined with an absorbent material held in place by perforated steel sheets, then pass through an absorbing soundproofing passage. The inlet piping is radial, while the outlet piping is axial.
Silencer SM 40/50
This silencer is based on the combined principles of resonance and absorption. The gases enter a reactive element consisting of 2 various connected volumes. from a Venturi device, then continue through a soundproof passage. The inlet pipes can be both radial and axial, the exhaust pipes are axial.

Protection
The inside and outside of the silencer are protected by a high-temperature resistant paint coating.
Installation
The SM 15/25 silencers are positioned inside the piping circuit. The direction flow of the exhaust gases must be observed. SM 30/40 mufflers should be positioned as close to the engine as possible. The direction flow of the exhaust gases must be observed.
