Milan, October 2025 — Stopson Italiana, an international leader in industrial soundproofing solutions, celebrates 60 years of business, previewing its new brand identity and a renewed strategic positioning focused on innovation, sustainability, and international expansion at Megawatt Expo in Bergamo.
Stopson Italiana, a Made in Italy story. Founded in 1965, Stopson Italiana is a pioneering company based in Trezzano sul Naviglio (Milan), specializing in the design, construction, and installation of advanced noise reduction systems for industrial plants, power plants, and infrastructure. With a consolidated presence in the Oil & Gas markets, Stopson Italiana is a leader in the Oil & Gas market. Gas, Power Generation, and Industrial Services, and a commitment to establishing itself in the road soundproofing sector, the company boasts a track record of over 21,300 projects completed in over 90 countries worldwide, with leading clients in the energy, chemical, and manufacturing sectors. Today, the company has 16 employees and seven production partners in Italy, Spain, and Turkey. The subsidiary Stopson Türkiye, established in 2023 as a commercial and production joint venture, consolidates the group’s presence in the Eurasian region.
“We chose to celebrate this milestone,” says Alessandro Boursier, General Manager of Stopson Italiana, “with an eye to the future. The rebranding represents the culmination of sixty years of ingenuity, experience, and trust, but also a tangible sign of our desire to communicate with a more contemporary language, consistent with the evolution of global markets. The new brand is not a stylistic exercise, but rather the tangible sign of an industrial, digital, and cultural evolution that prepares us for the next sixty years, starting with the concept of ‘Quietness.’ The new visual identity, characterized by stylized sound waves, shades of technical blue, and flowing lines, represents the dialogue between engineering, design, and sustainability. The new graphic applications—corporate, digital, and below-the-line—make the corporate image consistent across all channels, from institutional communications to social media.”
A strategic project that unites engineering and communication. The new Brand Identity, developed by Identitas, Giango’s Brand Identity Studio, has redefined the company’s values and personality in a modern key. The six pillars on which Stopson Italiana is founded today—trust, experience, ingenuity, innovation, excellence, and internationality—have been translated into a clear and coherent communication system, capable of enhancing the company’s technical and human DNA. The new tagline, “Your Quietness since 1965,” encapsulates the link between history and future, encapsulating the promise that has guided every project for sixty years: ensuring silence and acoustic comfort through custom-engineered solutions. Visually, the refreshed identity uses a color palette inspired by sound waves, a restyled logo, and a fluid and technical visual language. The new applications—from corporate materials to advertising campaigns, from digital templates to social media formats—graphically translate the idea of ”engineering silence,” making the brand recognizable and authoritative in any context.
60 years of leadership and projects worldwide. In six decades of business, Stopson Italiana has created thousands of acoustic systems and equipment worldwide: silencers, barriers, enclosures, and integrated soundproofing systems for power plants, chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries, and industrial infrastructure. Among the most significant projects are orders for clients in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Belgium, Poland, Turkey, and Italy, with noise reduction capabilities of up to 70 dB on complex and highly technical applications.
Investments in digitalization, internationalization, and sustainability. The 60th anniversary celebration coincides with a phase of industrial and technological consolidation. Since 2018, Stopson Italiana has introduced a new SAP-based ERP system and a web-based technical document management platform, which have fully digitized the design, production, and quality control workflow. At the same time, the company has launched a product standardization and improvement program, focusing on acoustic efficiency, noise reduction, and the use of low-impact materials. In 2023, Stopson Türkiye was established, a joint venture with local partners for production and distribution in the Middle East and MENA region: a strategic choice that has allowed the company to increase competitiveness in emerging markets. In line with the strategic vision outlined in the business plan, Stopson Italiana is aiming for ambitious revenue targets, supporting growth with investments in research, innovation, and the development of acoustic technologies for the energy transition. The company looks to the future with a clear goal: to position itself among the leading European players specializing in industrial acoustic engineering, through the expansion of the Stopson Group and the creation of vertical divisions by product lines and target markets.
International Certifications. In 2025, Stopson Italiana successfully completed the first U-Stamp certified inline silencer project, intended for two-stage industrial compressors for the US market. The certification, issued according to Section VIII of the ASME Code, allows the production and marketing of pressure equipment compliant with the most stringent US standards and product registration with the National Board, ensuring traceability and legal compliance in industrial plants. The silencers, designed with advanced engineering analysis, offer high acoustic and mechanical performance, reducing vibrations and resonances. Since 2011, the company has also held the PED 2014/68/EU certification, issued by the notified bodies Eurofins and 3D-Incerta, which allows it to supply pressure equipment with calculations, design and production controlled and certified according to the PED categories and with CE conformity. In 2016, Stopson Italiana obtained the EAC CU-TR certification, in compliance with the technical regulations of the Euroasian Customs Union, which allows it to export a wide range of silencers to the Eurasian and Kazakh markets. The EAC marking, compliant with the CU-TR 032 and CU-TR 010 regulations on the safety of pressure equipment, extends the validity and traceability of products beyond European borders.
