Stopson Italiana acoustic louvers are the perfect solution for moderate noise attenuation on low speeds and large buildings. Acoustic louvers are a low-impact remedy. The noise reduction capacity is conferred by sound-absorbing and sound-insulating in-line slats which, with their angular profile, help to change the direction of the sound waves.
The linear elements and the modular design allow the use of louvers in various situations, particularly where space is limited and certain architectural standards of aesthetics must be met. The design is specific to ensure optimal acoustic and fluid dynamic performance.
They consist of an outer metal box with a perforated profile facing the noise source. Inside the metal shell there are absorbent acoustic supports.
The louvers allow air flow and at the same time protect the environment from noise. This means that they can meet a wide range of requirements, such as sound attenuation even in limited areas, in full compliance with compatible pressure drops. And all this combined with a pleasing aesthetic design.
Available in four models: SL-100, SL-150, SL-300 and SL-600. The first three are running individually grouped, the last one is running double. Although each model has different pressure loss, all of them have good sound insulation properties at high frequencies.
Acoustic Louvers are suitable for applications where space is limited and the use of standard silencers is not practical. The acoustic slats are made by assembling blind sheets and perforated sheets inside which a sound-absorbing mat in high-density, fireproof and anti-deterioration mineral wool is inserted. To prevent dispersion into the environment, the sound-absorbing mat is protected by a layer of fiberglass.
Stopson Italiana Acoustic Shutters can be equipped with mounting flanges for surface installations, galvanized stainless steel mesh for bird protection, and angular design (with “chevron” pattern) useful for a more impressive noise reduction.
The SL model is available in any size, although it is usually supplied in standard, easy-to-assemble modules. Based on the customer’s project requests, a SPECIAL version in “Chevron” style is also available with “V” type coupling of two grilles mod. SL-100 (overall thickness 200 mm) or SL-150 (overall thickness 300 mm) which allows you to increase its acoustic performance.
