Quality System Certification
In 2025 Stopson Italiana successfully completed the first project of U-Stamp certified in-line silencers, intended for double-stage industrial compressors for the US market. The certification, issued according to Section VIII of the ASME Code, allows the production and marketing of pressure equipment that complies with the most stringent standards required in the United States.
This certification allows products to be registered with the National Board, ensuring full traceability and suitability for legal installation in U.S. industrial facilities. The silencers have been designed to meet precise acoustic and mechanical requirements, with advanced engineering analysis to avoid resonances and ensure high performance and operational reliability
PED Certification
STOPSON ITALIANA has its own diffusers for the silencers of the SPM series and all the Inline silencers certified since 2011 through the Notified Body Eurofins and 3D-Incerta according to the PED Directive 2014/68 / EU.
With this certification, STOPSON ITALIANA can provide equipment in which the calculation, design and production are controlled and finally certified, based on the PED categories, with a Certificate of Conformity and relative plate according to PED requirements.
EAC Certification
In 2016 Stopson Italiana obtained the EAC CU-TR certification issued in accordance with the Technical Regulation of the Euroasi Custom Union for a wide range of vent silencers that cover almost the entire range of products in terms of pressure flow rate and size.
A valid EAC CU-TR certification allows Stopson Italiana to export this range of products to the Russian, Belarusian and Kazakhstan markets, having the right to apply the EAC marking on each of them.
A specific EAC certification covering our range of in-line pressurized silencers is implemented in accordance with the EAC CU-TR 032 and EAC CU-TR 010 regulations relating to the safety of pressure equipment, parallel to the PED Pressure Equipment Directive.
